Project \u201cCapacity building of the public administration in Bulgaria related to the energy efficiency and renewable energy measures\u201d<\/h3>\n

Project aim:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Capacity building of public administration in Bulgaria in the field of energy efficiency and introduction of renewable energy sources.<\/p>\n

Target groups:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Employees of municipal and state institutions.<\/p>\n

\n

Project activities:<\/h3>\n

Provision of trainings for the staff of municipal and state authorities in order to increase administrative capacity in planning and implementing energy efficiency and renewable energy solution measures.<\/p>\n

As part of this activity will be held 10 trainings for state and municipal experts on the following main topics:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • European and national legislation in the field of Energy Efficiency<\/li>\n
  • Integrating the energy production of RES<\/li>\n
  • Energy sector regulation<\/li>\n
  • Trends and good practices in EE&RES<\/li>\n
  • Elaboration of Action plans in compliance with the national and the respective EU Directives related to the measures in buildings<\/li>\n
  • Reporting on Implementation of the Action plans<\/li>\n
  • Energy management of buildings<\/li>\n
  • Energy Performance Contracts<\/li>\n
  • Basic knowledge on Energy Audits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The trainings will be held the following region centers: Blagoevgrad, Lovech, Plovdiv, Sandanksi, Pernik, Sliven, Gabrovo, Kyustendil and Pazardzhik.<\/p>\n

    Study visit to Norway for exchange of good practices and experience with the Project Partner<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The study visit aims at the exchange of experience in the fields project management, project planning and implementation of EE&RES measures in municipal and public buildings. Both Project Partner and Project Promoter will present their experience in development, planning and implementation of EE&RES measures in collaboration with public institutions and other stakeholders.
    \nDetailed information concerning the best practices and the Norwegian model will be published on the project site in order to achieve wide publicity for the target groups.<\/p>\n

    Conducting working seminar with guest lecturers from the Project Partner<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Under this activity will be conducted a working seminar for employees of state and municipal institutions in Sofia. During the seminar, experts from Norsk Energi will present the Norwegian experience in the fields of EE and RES.<\/p>\n

    Publicity and information<\/strong><\/p>\n

    During the project implementation will be conducted activities that aim at provision of publicity and information of the project objectives, activities and results. Regularly will be publish information in Bulgarian and English concerning the project progress including details about the events, achievements and results, information materials about EE&RES, cooperation with the donors, photos, contact information and a clear expression of the contribution of the EEA Financial Mechanism and the donor countries.<\/p>\n

    During the project implementation will be organize two informational events: starting and closing conference.<\/p>\n

    Information campaign will be held throughout the project implementation aiming at dissemination of information about the project activities.<\/p>\n

    An information brochure will be prepared. It will contains valuable information concerning the best practices, Norwegian experience in EE&RES.<\/p>\n

    • Conducted ten trainings and one working seminar for capacity building of the public administration in Bulgaria related to the energy efficiency and renewable energy measures<\/li>\n
    • Trained 220 employees of municipal and state administration<\/li>\n
    • Conducted one working visit of the team of Advanced Business Consulting Ltd in Norway<\/li>\n
    • Trained 4 experts from the team of Advanced Business Consulting Ltd<\/li>\n
    • Exchanged know-how and best practices on expert level between the project promoter and the project partner<\/li>\n
