With Blagoevgrad was launched the training cycle on the project

In the period 18-21 January 2016 in the conference hall of Hotel Monte Kristo in Blagoevgrad was held the first training on the project “Capacity building of the public administration in Bulgaria related to the energy efficiency and renewable energy measures”. In the training took part representatives of state, local and regional authorities and other stakeholders, having responsibilities for development, implementation and control upon the measures for energy efficiency and renewable energy.

The main topics in the training were:

• European and national legislation in the field of Energy Efficiency
• Integrating the energy production of RES
• Energy sector regulation
• Trends and good practices in EE&RES
• Elaboration of Action plans in compliance with the national and the respective EU Directives related to the measures in buildings
• Reporting on Implementation of the Action plans
• Energy management of buildings
• Energy Performance Contracts
• Basic knowledge on Energy Audits
